About PainLab

Vision and Mission

Mission

Our mission is to foster joint projects and high quality research in pain, by organizing local and international interdisciplinary meetings, recruiting high quality scholars, collaborative research and seeking external grants. The Institute also aims to promote public education and raise the awareness of pain and its management in society.

Vision

Several Special Interest Groups (SIG) are currently collaborating in a number of key areas, including back pain, acute pain, chronic post-ischaemia pain, post-stroke pain, cancer pain and the role of ET-1, both clinically and in the laboratory. We foresee more projects involving other disciplines of interest in the near future and welcome enquiries.

Donation

We welcome and appreciate all forms of contribution to pain research. Please contact us if you have any inquires.
